Lynch Ties for First, Gophers Finish Second at Spartan Golf Shootout
MT. WOLF, PA- The Goucher College Gophers completed day two of the Spartan Golf Shootout on Monday afternoon. Goucher shot 314 (+26) on day one and 313 (+25) on day two. The Gophers finished the Spartan Golf Shootout in second place with a score of 627 (+51).
Junior, Tyler Lynch tied for first. He shot better on day one with a score of 74 (+2) and a day two score 76 (+4). His final score on the course was 150 (+6).
Riley Ruby was not far behind Lynch. Ruby finished in third place. After a day one score of 77 (+5), he shot better on day two with a score of 76 (+4). He ended the competition with a score of 153 (+9).
Maxime Pocat shot 82 (+10) on day one and 80 (+8) on day two. His final score was 162 (+18). Pocat tied for 17th.
Senior, Andy Hill Garcia tied for 21st. His day one score was 82 (+10) and he shot better on day two with a score of 81 (+9). He ended the competition with a score of 163 (+19).
Ryan Combs rounded out the Gophers coming in 32nd place. He shot better on day one with a score of 81 (+9). His day two score of 87 (+15). His final score was 168 (+24).
The Gophers finish up their fall season at Landmark Championships. The Landmark Championship takes place on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th.
