Gophers Land in Second Place at Conference Fall Preview, Ruby Finishes in Top Three
DELAWARE, PA- The Goucher College Gophers are on the road at Landmark Conference Fall Preview. The Gophers ended day one sitting in second place with a score of 307 (+19). Goucher shot better as a team on day two with a score 300 (+12). The Gophers ended the Landmark Conference Championship in second place.
The Gophers were led by junior, Riley Ruby. Ruby shot 73 (+1) on day one and 75 (+3) on day two. His final score at championships were 148 (+4). Ruby earned third place.
Ryan Combs jumped up four spots from day one to day two. He shot 76 (+4) on both days of competition. He finished the course in sixth place with a final score of 152 (+8)
Andy Hill Garcia made major improvements going from day one to day two. On day one, he had a score of 80 (+8). Then, on day two he shot 74 (+2). His final score was 154 (+10). Hill Garcia tied for 11th.
Junior, Tyler Lynch ended round one with a score of 80 (+8). On day two, he improved his score to 75 (+3). After two days of competition, he tied for 14th with a final score of 155 (+11).
To round out the Gophers is Maxime Pocat. After two rounds, he tied for 17th. He shot 78 (+6) on both days. His final score was 156 (+12).
This was the last competition for the fall season. The next time the Gophers tee off will be Spring 2026.
