Lynch Finishes in Second at Catholic Cardinal Classic
HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Goucher College Gophers traveled to compete in the second day of the Cardinal Spring Classic. The team ended day one with a score of 300 (+12) and a day two score of 311 (+23). After a two-day classic, with a combined score of 611 (+35), the Gophers finished in third place.
Leading the Gophers was junior Tyler Lynch. He finished the two-day competition in second place. This came from a day one with a score of 73 (+1) and a day two score of 75 (+3), combining for a two-day total of 148 (+4).
Mikolaj Pula tied for eighth after a day one score of 74 (+2) and a day two score of 79 (+7). His total score was 153 (+9). Following was Riley Ruby, tying for 13th. He shot 81 (+9) and bounced back with a day two score of 75 (+3). He finished the two-day competition with a score of 156 (+12).
Jack Green tied for 18th, with a total score of 157 (+13). This came after a day one score of 78 (+6) and a day two score of 79 (+7). Ryan Combs was the next to finish. Combs had a round one score of 77 (+5) and a round two score of 82 (+10). His two-day score was 159 (+15) and tied for 24th.
Rounding out the Gophers is Aidan Ungtrakul. He finished the two-day course tied for 28th with a final score of 161 (+17). His day one score was 76 (+4) and his day two score was 85 (+13).
The Gophers tee off next on Tuesday, April 14th at Juniata.
