Goucher Finishes Season in Third Place at Championships
DELAWARE, PA - The Goucher College Gophers competed in the final day of the Landmark Conference Championships at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The Gophers finished the championship in third place after a day one score of 316 (+28) and shot better on day two with a score of 299 (+11). Goucher totaled a two-day score of 615 (+39).
Leading the Gophers at the end of the championship was Riley Ruby, who tied for second place after shooting par both days with a score of 72 (E). His two-day score was 144 (E).
Teammates Tyler Lynch and Andy Hill Garcia both tied for 19th with a final score of 156 (+12). Lynch finished day one with a score of 82 (+10) and shot better on day two with a score of 74 (+2). Hill Garcia shot a score of 80 (+8) on day one and shot better on day two with a score of 76 (+4).
Rounding out the Gophers were Ryan Combs and Mikolaj Pula. Combs ended day one with a score of 82 (+10) and finished day two with a score of 77 (+5). He finished the championship with a final score of 159 (+15), tying for 27th. Pula finished the two-day competition, tying for 42nd with a final score of 168 (+24). He finished day one with a score of 86 (+14) and shot 82 (+10) on the second day.
The Landmark Conference Championships marked the last competition of the season for the Gophers. Goucher will return to action Fall 2026.
