Landmark Recognizes Stricklin as Top Defensive Player

Senior GK Makes 14 Saves, Allows Only Two Even-Strength Goals


MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Chris Stricklin (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) was recognized today by the Landmark Conference as its Defensive Player of the Week for February 22-28.

The senior goalkeeper faced a total of 34 shots and made 14 saves while playing the entire 60 minutes in the Gophers' season-opening 7-6 loss to Washington (Md.) on Saturday. He allowed the Shoremen to score only two even-strength goals.
