TOWSON, Md. — Goucher concluded a four-game home stand this afternoon with its fourth straight victory, a 12-6 triumph over New England.

The Pilgrims (0-4) got on the scoreboard first in the second quarter on an extra-man goal by Lucas Fleig, but the Gophers responded with a run of six consecutive goals that put them ahead 10-1 at haltime. John Curry (Yarmouth, Maine/Yarmouth) had a hand in four of the six goals, scoring two of them and setting up a pair of goals by Matt Lynch (Ivyland, Pa./LaSalle College) on extra-man opportunities.
