Boncaro Repeats as Landmark's Top Offensive Performer

Honor Follows Five-Goal, One-Assist Effort in 11-10 Victory Over Drew


MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Kyle Boncaro (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) repeated as the Landmark Conference's Offensive Player of the Week for the sport of men's lacrosse, according to an official announcement released by the conference this morning.

The second of the back-to-back honors earned by the sophomore attackman covers the seven-day period starting April 26. In Goucher's only game during the week, Boncaro scored five times and picked up one assist for a total of six points in an 11-10 triumph over Drew. His fifth goal of the contest provided the final margin of victory as it put the Gophers ahead 11-9 with 5:25 remaining.

Through 15 games this season, Boncaro has accumulated 34 goals and 27 assists for a total of 61 points. He leads the Landmark Conference in points per contest, averaging 4.07.
