Weekly Honor from Landmark Goes to Annunziato

TOWSON, Md. — A junior attackman who tied the single-game school record for assists in Goucher's season-opening victory over Millsaps was selected by the Landmark Conference as its Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for February 9-15 today.

Conner Annunziato (West Chester, Pa./Bayerd Rustin) earned the honor after supplying the Gophers with four goals and 11 assists during their 2-0 start to the 2015 campaign. He tied a record established by Tim Asher against Lycoming on March 1, 1997 with his three-goal, seven-assist performance in the 17-5 triumph over the Majors.

Annunziato scored once and assisted four more goals in a 15-4 triumph over Huntingdon.

In his first two seasons at Goucher, Annunziato appeared in 15 games and managed three goals and a pair of assists.
