Demmerly, Morgan Make 2015 All-Landmark Team

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher placed a junior midfielder and a senior attackman on the 2015 All-Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Team. Both players were all-conference selections for the second year in a row.

As revealed today, the team includes 27 student-athletes representing all eight men's lacrosse programs which compete in the Landmark Conference. Position-by-position voting was done by the head coaches and the balloting produced a first team that included three attackman, three midfielders, a long-stick midfielder, a short-stick defensive midfielder, a face-off specialist, three defenseman and a goalkeeper, as well as a second team made up of 14 additional players.

Goucher's two all-conference selections were Owen Demmerly (Medford, N.J./Shawnee), who landed on the first team, and Sam Morgan (Wilmot, N.H./Kearsarge Regional), a second-team honoree.

Demmerly, a second-team All-Landmark midfielder in 2014 as a sophomore, moved up to the first unit this year after supplying the Gophers with 21 goals and seven assists. He also collected 15 ground balls and caused the opposition to commit six turnovers.
