2017-18: Saw action in 14 games during his first campaign with the Gophers ... picked up a total of 12 groundballs over the season.

Before Goucher: Prepped at Naperville North in Illinois, where as a member of the lacrosse team he was a second-team All-Conference selection and was picked to play in the Illinois State All-Star Game ... was also an Illinois State Scholar and a two-time Academic All-Conference selection.

Personal: The son of Geoff Mallard ... has a younger brother, Luke, who is a junior Olympian ... is a Biology major at Goucher.
