  • Goucher College lost 16-6 to Frostburg State in non-conference men's lacrosse action on March 16. The game ended a stretch of four games in eight days for the team with the Gophers going 3-1 in that stretch.
  • Zephan Harnish paced the Gophers with three goals. 
  • Rashaan Evans added a goal and two assists while Jared Heath and Matt Woodson also found the twine on the afternoon. 
  • Mick Togo paced the defense with four ground balls and one caused turnovers. Sam Gravel registered three ground balls while Lukas Glaser posted a ground ball and two caused turnovers.
  • Justin Lugo made nine saves in 38 minutes and Alex Shields turned away six shots in the loss.
  • The Greyhounds come into the game 5-2 overall and 0-0 in conference play on the year after finishing 7-7 and 2-4 in Landmark Conference play last season. 
  • Moravian is 2-0 at home this season. The team went 5-2 at home in 2018.
  • In their last game, the Greyhounds lost 17-7 to Muhlenberg on March 16.
  • Mark Laratta leads the team with 21 goals and nine assists for 30 points. Jimmy Schicke paces the defense with 35 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers while Kurt Dick has 67 saves, a 7.54 goals against average and a .620 save percentage
  • Moravian is coached by Dave Carty, who is in his fifth season with Moravian.
  • Zephan Harnish recorded his second-straight hat trick, third of the season and sixth of his career. Harnish ranks second on the team with 19 goals and six assists for 25 points. 
  • Rashaan Evans notched his first career multiple assist game and registered a tally in his sixth game this season. The freshman has seven goals and four assists for 11 points.
  • Matt Woodson, who leads the team with 13 goals and 20 assists, registered six goals and 11 assists in the week to earn Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
  • Justin Lugo posted 36 saves, a 9.64 goals against average and a .610 save percentage in the three games during the week including 27 saves, a 6.29 goals against average and a .711 save percentage in the two victories to earn Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week. 
  • Woodson was the last Goucher player to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week of April 16-22, 2018 while Logan Winn was the last Defensive Player of the Week recipient for the week of April 23-29, 2018. It also marks the first time the Gophers swept the two awards since Rory Averett and Paul Taylor took home the offensive and defensive honors, respectively, for the week of March 21-27, 2011. 
  • Goucher host Elizabethtown on March 30 for its Landmark Conference home debut.
  • Game time is 1 p.m.
