Morgan Awarded Offensive Athlete of the Week for Third Time

BALTIMORE, MD – The Landmark Conference has announced the Athlete of the Week for Men's Lacrosse. Senior Jacob Morgan was named the offensive Athlete of the Week for the week of April 13th. This comes following the award last week.

Morgan continues to deliver a record-breaking performance in men's lacrosse, helping the Gophers to a dominant 19-2 win over conference opponent, Juniata College, and taking down Lycoming 20-4 earlier in the week.

Over both contests, Morgan recorded 22 points, with 10 goals and 12 assists. With the 22 points this week, Morgan both earned and surpassed his 300th career point, as he continues to set the pace for the new career points record. The Gophers still have three games remaining.

This marks the third Athlete of the Week honor for Morgan this season. The team is back in action as they host Moravian on Wednesday, for a 4pm start.
