Kyle Hannan Selected to Coach in USILA Senior All-Star Game
BALTIMORE, MD – Head men's lacrosse coach, Kyle Hannan, has been selected to serve as a coach in the 2026 USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game, set for Friday, May 22 at 4pm.
Hannan will coach the South Team alongside J.B. Sheridan of Randolph-Macon College. This selection marks the third time Hannan has been chosen to coach in the nationally recognized senior showcase.
The connection of the South coaching staff extends beyond friendly competitors, as Sheridan has previously served as an assistant coach under Hannan from 2008 to 2010. The reunion gives the pair a chance to coach with each other once again on one of the most prestigious stages to conclude an impressive collegiate coaching career for Hannan.
The Senior All-Star Game is hosted by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, set to highlight top players in the graduating class from across the country. This is used to celebrate their accomplishments and contributions to the sport.
The tradition of this game dates to 1940, when the first matchup took place in Baltimore, Maryland. Originally created as a single game showcasing standout players from all three NCAA divisions, the event later expanded due to the sport's continued growth. In 1991, the format split into two games, one featuring Division I and Division II players, and another highlighting Division III student-athletes.
