FREDERICK, Md. – Two goals in the final 11 minutes lifts Hood College past Goucher College 2-1 in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday.
After a scoreless first half, Matt Sanders (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) found the twine 53 seconds into the final stanza to notch his second goal of the season and the third of his career off an assist by Isaiah Perry (West Harford, Conn./Hall). It was Perry's first collegiate helper on the play and he now has a goal and an assist for three points.
Cole Judkins (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) made six saves in the loss.
Goucher returns to action on Saturday for its 2019 Landmark Conference home debut against Scranton. Match time is 1 p.m.
