TOWSON, Md. - Junior goalkeeper Ale Sternini made 11 saves en route to his fifth shutout of the season as the Goucher College men's soccer team played Drew University to a 0-0 tie in Landmark action Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field.
- Sternini made his first two saves of the game for Goucher (5-6-3, 1-4-1 Landmark) just over a minute apart in the seventh and eighth minutes.
- In the 21st minute, Andres Aristimuno had a shot saved by Drew (7-6-3, 1-4-1) goalie David Hoyt.
- With eight minutes to go in the half, Michael Adekanmbi had a shot from the top of the 18 that was handled by Hoyt.
- Eian Waples had a shot saves by Hoyt with three minutes to go.
- Sternini made six saves in the opening 45 minutes.
- Sternini made his first save of the second half four minutes in.
- Adekanmbi had a header saved by Hoyt in the 57th minute.
