Michael Adekanmbi Repeats as United Soccer Coaches All-Region

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College men's soccer senior forward Michael Adekanmbi was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team for Region V as a Third Team selection, it was announced on Tuesday.  For Adekanmbi, it marks his second straight All-Region selection, as he was also a Third Team member in 2023.

Adekanmbi totaled two goals and a team-high nine assists for the Gophers in 2024.  His nine assists were tied for the Landmark Conference lead and ranked No. 39 nationally, while his 0.6 assists per game were good for No. 17 in Division III.

In two years at Goucher, Adekanmbi totaled nine goals and 19 assists for 37 points, with his 19 assists tied for second in program history.

Goucher has had a United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection in each of the last three seasons.  Ali Kazim Nakhid was named All-Region in 2022 before Adekanmbi earned the honor the past two seasons.
