Goucher Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award
BALTIMORE, MD - United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. The Team Academic Award was created to recognize student athletes' commitment to excellence in the classroom.
For a team to be considered for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, it must have a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members who appear on the official NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA or junior college roster forms for the fall season. A total of 697 soccer teams (283 men, 414 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year.
Goucher Men's Soccer, under head coach Bryan Laut, posted a 3.16 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year after completing a 7-8-3 season.
