Bio

Wills Huddleston holds a BA in Business and Economics with a minor in Leadership in the Public Interest from Hampden Sydney College. While at Hampden Sydney, he was a three-year starting goalkeeper - leading the team to two conference semi-finals. He guided the team through one of the longest consecutive shut-out runs in school history and their first home playoff game in four years. A two time All ODAC Tournament goalkeeper, two time All Conference Sportsmanship winner, and in his senior year, ODAC Defensive Player of the Week, his successes at the undergraduate level landed him 6th in Hampden Sydney’s rankings for All Time Shut Outs.

Wills’ coaching experience includes five years at the high school level, most recently as the Associate Head Coach for the Prince Edward County High School Varsity program and seven years coaching goalkeepers across all ages and levels, currently acting as a part-time head coach for Protect Your Net in Forest Hill, MD. In addition to Protect Your Net, Wills will also be serving as a Goalkeeper Coach for the Maryland State Olympic Development Program. Wills also serves as the Head Coach for Baltimore Union Soccer Club 2009 Elite Boys. Wills continues to play the game he loves as the starting goalkeeper for The Baltimore Kickers, a local semi-professional team.

Prior to attending HSC, Wills played for several local club teams at the Elite level. He was a Maryland State Olympic Development Program (ODP) starting goalkeeper and also selected for the ODP Regional Pool. In high school, he was a four-time First Team All-Conference, three-time Conference All-Star and three-year team captain.

Wills plans to pursue his master’s in education degree with a concentration in athletic leadership and administration at Goucher College where he will serve as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s Soccer Team .
