TOWSON, Md. — Morgan Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne) is Goucher's lone representative on the 2013 All-Landmark Conference Men's Swimming Team, which was officially unveiled today. He earned a spot on the first team as the conference champion in the 200-yard butterfly.
The first-place finishers in all 15 individual events and the five relays which were contested at the 2013 Landmark Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships this past weekend are accorded first-team All-Landmark honors, while the runners-up in every event are placed on the second team.
Richter, one of only two freshman to make the All-Landmark
first team as the first-place performer in an individual event, was
clocked at 1:54.70 in the 200 butterfly finals on Sunday. He's the
first male swimmer from Goucher to win a conference title since Jon
Claus was the 2005 Capital Athletic Conference 100-yard freestyle
champion.
