Landmark Recognizes Richter as Week's Top Swimmer

TOWSON, Md. — Colin Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne), who competed in three individual events for Goucher in Saturday's dual meet with Scranton and took first place in all three, was named the Male Swimmer of the Week in the Landmark Conference today for November 2-8.

The senior was the first to complete the 200-meter freestyle, which he did in 2:04.33. He was also the top perfromer in the 200-meter individual medley (2:21.41) and the 100-meter backstroke (1:02.79).

The Gophers were beaten by the Royals, 124-81.

Richter owns the fastest reported time this season in the 100-yard back in the Landmark Conference at :55.14.
