Covey dropped the first set of his match against Dickinson's Rich

With the victory, Covey's record at that spot in the Gophers'
singles line-up improved to 3-0.
No. 4 wasn't the only match decided by a super-tiebreaker. At No.

(Silver Spring, MD/Gonzaga) in the first set, 6-0, only to
have Ortiz battle back to capture the second set, 6-2. Holbrook
came out on top in the super-tiebreaker, 11-9.
The Red Devils (9-5) won the remaining four singles matches in

Goucher's Wynn Thane (Chambersburg, PA/Mercersburg

Schroeder, 7-2, at first doubles and then won four straight games
before the Dickinson duo completed an 8-6 victory.
