Hodges, who was named Athlete of the Week previously on March 5 and March 19, was a two-time winner on the afternoon on Saturday, as the Gophers shutout Susquehanna, 9-0, in their Landmark Conference opener.

In the win, Hodges played in the number one spot in both singles and doubles, taking an 8-2 win in doubles with partner first-year Tetsuya Ota (Winter Park, Fla.), while in singles, he rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

For the year, Hodges and Ota have won nine matches - all in the number one spot in the doubles lineup, while in singles, Hodges is 10-7 overall and 2-0 in the top spot. For his career, Hodges has now won 53 singles matches, which is the fourth-most in program history.

Hodges and the rest of the Goucher College men's tennis team (who is also ranked 17th regionally by the ITA) returns to action on Saturday, as they travel to Scranton for another road Landmark Conference showdown. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
