Sophomore Slade Dumas (Great Falls, Va.) of the men's tennis team went unbeaten in singles action over the weekend, as the Gophers moved to 3-0 in the Landmark Conference with victories over Scranton (5-4) and Drew (7-2) on the road.

First on Saturday against Scranton, Dumas clinched a come-from-behind win for Goucher with a 6-3, 6-3 win in the number five spot of the singles line-up. He followed that up with a pair of victories in a win at Drew on Sunday, as he and partner junior Elliot Diehl (York, Pa.) collected an 8-0 win at number three doubles, then Dumas won again in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) at number four singles.

For the season, Dumas has been impressive in singles action for the Gophers, who are currently 16-3 for the season and ranked 17th in the Oracle/ITA Division III Atlantic South Regional Rankings.
