Goucher Athletics Announces Live Video And Statistics For Goucher Men's And Women's Tennis

BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College Athletics has enhanced its streaming capabilities for the Spring of 2021. All eight tennis team matches at Evelyn Dyke Schroedl '62 Tennis Center will have live statistics and live video for each competition. Spectators are not allowed at events on Goucher College's campus, but we hope to provide the fans with in-depth coverage so they can still enjoy their favorite student-athletes #GopherGreatness.

For the men's and women's tennis matches against Catholic, the players will have a dedicated camera for each of their contests. The men's and women's tennis teams will play Susquehanna, Elizabethtown, and Scranton at the same time. During those matches, each team will have three dedicated cameras for their competitions. The use of the live video feed will be weather permitting.

The men's tennis team (athletics.goucher.edu/mtenlive) and women's tennis team (athletics.goucher.edu/wtenlive) will each have a dedicated streaming page. Both pages will be live the day of the team's first home match. The page will include the team score, an embedded video feed for all of the courts available to view on that day, and live statistics for all of the matches. Live statistics will change after each game point. Also, fans will have the option to select a video feed to watch in full screen, but live stats would be unavailable in this mode.

Goucher College is playing its first season at the Evelyn Dyke Schroedl '62 Tennis Center. Both the men's and the women's teams will be playing their first collegiate match at the facility.
