Asprella, Nguyen Collect CSC Academic All-District Honors

COLLEGE SPORTS COMMUNICATORS RELEASE

TOWSON, Md. - Junior Calis Nguyen and sophomore Tadeo Asprella of the Goucher College men's tennis team have each been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Nguyen is an Integrative Data Analytics major from Houston, Texas, while Asprella is a Business Management major from La Plata, Argentina.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or an important reserve and have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 4 (women) and June 5 (men)
