BALTIMORE, Md. - The Goucher College men's tennis team (5-4 Overall; 1-0 Conference) traveled to face another local college in the Greyhounds of Loyola University of Maryland (2-5 Overall), despite numerous hard fought matches, the Gophers fell 1-6.
- The No. 1 doubles team, consisting of Benedikt Rummel and Gabe Naftoly battles to a tie breaker, but falling 7-6.
- Jackson Beam and Tadeo Asprella maintained a close game in the No. 3 doubles, but fell 5-7.
- Asprella earned the only singles victory in the No. 2 match, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
- In the No. 4 singles, Calis Nguyen played to a tie breaker in the first set but went down 6-7, after that he dropped the second 2-6.
- Asprella maintains his win streak, extending it to five in a row.
- The men host Morgan State this Friday, March 14th set to begin at 2pm at the Schroedl Tennis Center.
