Gophers Sweep Warriors at Home in Conference Play

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher Men's Tennis Team (7-5 Overall; 2-0 Conference) took down the Warriors of Lycoming College (0-7 Overall; 0-3 Conference) at home 7-0 in the first game of the double-header.

• George King and Gabe Naftoly finished the No. 1 doubles match 6-1.
• In the No. 2 doubles, Jackson Beam and Calis Nguyen won 6-0.
• Manny Vidal and Lucas Lucena paired up for a win in the No. 3 doubles, their first of the season (6-2).

• In the No. 1 singles, Benedikt Rummel took down his opponent 6-1, 6-0.
• Nguyen won the No. 2 singles after only allowing one game (6-0, 6-1).
• King went undefeated in the No. 3 singles winning 6-0, 6-0.
• In the No. 4 singles, Beam only allowed one game, winning 6-1, 6-0.
• Vidal did not let up a game, winning 6-0, 6-0.
• In his first singles match for the Gophers, Lucena won 6-0, 6-0. 

• The Gophers travel to face Moravian in a 4pm game on Wednesday, March 26th.
• They return home to take on Drew at 1pm on Saturday, March 29th.
