Goucher Falls to Johns Hopkins in Second Contest of the Double Header

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College Gophers (12-6 Overall; 7-0 Conference) hosted the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays in the second game of the double header. The Gophers fell to the Blue Jays 0-7, ending their seven game win streak.

• In the No. 1 match, Gabe Naftoly and Benedikt Rummel fell 2-6.
• Tadeo Asprella and George King fell 3-6 against their opponents in the No. 2 match.
• The No. 3 doubles team consisting of Jackson Beam and Guilherme Moraes finished with a similar score, falling 3-6.

• Naftoly fell in straight sets 1-6, 2-6 during the No. 1 singles match.
• In the No. 2 singles, Asprella lost 3-6, 1-6.
• Rummel lost in straight sets 0-6, 0-6 in the No. 3 match.
• Calis Nguyen fell in the No. 4 set, 1-6, 3-6. 
• In the No. 5 match, Moraes fell in straight sets 1-6, 2-6.
• King lost in the final match with. both sets finishing 1-6. 

• The men host Susquehanna in a Landmark Conference matchup on Wednesday, April 16th at 4pm in their senior meet.
