Goucher Places Three on All-Conference
BALTIMORE, MD – The Landmark announced its 2026 Men's Tennis All-Conference selections, recognizing the league's top performers following the conclusion of the spring season. Goucher was well represented, with three student-athletes earning All-Conference honors.
Leading the way for the Gophers was Gabe Naftoly, who was named to the First Team after a standout season at No. 1 singles. Naftoly posted a 13-6 record in singles, while consistently competing against the conference's top competition.
Joining him on the All-Conference teams was Tadeo Asprella, who earned Second Team recognition. Competing primarily at No. 2 singles, Asprella compiled an 11-5 record in singles and played a key role in several of the team's most important matches down the stretch. His consistency and ability to secure points in tight situations proved critical to the team's success.
In doubles play, the tandem of Naftoly and Benedikt Rummel earned First Team honors following a strong campaign at the No. 1 doubles position. The duo went 9-5 overall, showcasing strong chemistry and consistency throughout the season.
The Gophers finished the 2026 campaign with a 13-7 overall record and a 9-2 conference record, earning a spot in the Conference Championship. The All-Conference selections highlight the program's continued success and competitiveness within the Landmark Conference.
