Harold Burgin joined Goucher as an Assistant Coach of the men's and women's tennis programs in January 2025.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Burgin graduated with a degree in Political Science from Emory University, where he played #1 singles and doubles on the men’s tennis team. He then earned a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. His son, Paul Burgin, was a D3 All American tennis player at Kenyon College, and his sister Elise Burgin played professional tennis and achieved a career high ranking of 22 in the world.
