SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) just missed finishing in the top 10 in the pole vault competition at today's Susquehanna Indoor Invitational.
The sophomore, who only last weekend tied the indoor school record in the pole vault with his effort of 13-feet at the DuCharme Invitational, cleared 12-feet, 6-inches today. That put him in a tie for 11th place.
Goucher's entry in the 4 x 800-meter relay placed 13th overall. The foursome of Adam Scipione (Walpole, Mass./Walpole), Nicholas Stagno (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights), Zachary Martin (Victor, N.Y./Victor Central) and Joe Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) completed the event in 9:09.96.
