Litz Matches Top Division I Pole Vaulter
NEWARK, Del. — Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) not only turned in the top performance in the pole vault among Division II/III athletes at today's Delaware Invitational, but he successfully cleared the same height attained by the Division I first-place finisher.

Gophers Place Sixth in Division II/III Team Scoring
NEWARK, Del. — Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air,
Md./John Carroll) not only turned in the top performance
in the pole vault among Division II/III athletes at today's
Delaware Invitational, but he successfully cleared the same height
attained by the Division I first-place finisher.
Litz, a junior, cleared 13-feet, 11.25-inches and placed first in the Division II/III competition. In Division I, the winner was Jake Holler from LaSalle and he also cleared 13-feet, 11.25-inches.
The 10 points Litz earned for placing first allowed Goucher to finish in sixth place in the Division II/III team scoring.
