FAIRFAX, Va. - Against a strong field of schools across divisions, the Goucher College men's track & field team continued their indoor season on Saturday at the Patriot Games held at George Mason University of Saturday.
On the day, sophomore Xavier Coggeshall (Hampton, N.H./Winnacunnet) had a big day, as he finished 10th in the 500-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 1:15.42. The time was the fourth best in indoor program history, as Coggeshall also finished 25th in the 200-meter dash in 25.17.
Meanwhile, first-year Brian Sullivan (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) was 20th in the 200-metes, finishing in 24.62. In field events, sophomore Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown Area) was 19th in the weight throw with a toss of 35 feet, 9.50 inches, while he also finished 20th in the shot put with a 37 foot, eight-inch effort.
The Goucher College men's track & field team continues their indoor season on Saturday, as they head back to Susquehanna for the S.U. Challenge.
