Chukwu, Bauer Lead Men’s Track & Field at S.U. Challenge

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Sophomore's Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa.) and Ogemdi Chukwu (Paris, France) had big days in field events and on the track, respectively, at the S.U. Challenge on Saturday on the campus of Susquehanna University.

On the track, Chuckwu finished second overall in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 23.50 to best 56 other competitors in the event. The time was the fourth fastest in the event in school history, as well.

Meanwhile, in field events, Bauer was 17th in the shot put, as his toss of 39 feet, 10.75 inches was also the fourth best all-time in Goucher history.

The Goucher College men's track & field team returns to action on Saturday, as they take part in the Albright Track & Field Invitational in Reading, Pa.
