SELINSGROVE, Pa. - In their final warm-up before next week's Landmark Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Goucher College men's track & field team took part in the Susquehanna Indoor Invitational in Selinsgrove on Friday night.
On the evening, sophomore Ogemdi Chukwu (Paris, France) had the highest finish for the Gophers, as he finished third in the 200-meter dash after crossing the finish line in 23.32. The time was the third fastest in indoor program history, as well.
Elsewhere on the track, first-year Brian Sullivan (Lake Forest, Ill.) was 10th in the 60-meter dash (7.45) and 14th in the 200-meter dash (24.42). In the lone field event of note for the Gophers, sophomore Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa.) was 12th in the weight throw with an effort of 39 feet, 2.25 inches.
The Goucher College men's track & field team will conclude their indoor season next Saturday, as they head back to Susquehanna for the 2018 Landmark Indoor Championships.
