Goucher Takes Fourth Place in Sprint Medley Relay

It was in the sprint medley relay where the quartet of Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point), Elton Kativhu (Harare, Zimbabwe/St. Ignatius College), Eli Schwartz (Berkeley, Calif./Berkeley) and Liam Lanahan (Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley) produced a time of 3:54.55, good for fourth place.
The same four runners also made up an entry for Goucher in the 4 x 400-meter relay and finished in sixth place (4:46.79).
Byrum, Kativhu and Schwartz were joined by Christian Ribeiro (Silver Spring, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) in the 4 x 200-meter relay. That foursome was clocked at 1:41.80 and placed sixth overall.
There was no team scoring at today's meet.
The next meet on Goucher's 2015 outdoor schedule is the Gallaudet Invitational in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, March 28.
