Goucher Head to Big Apple Invitational

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The Goucher College men's track & field team remained in New York for the Big Apple Invitational hosted at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Three Gophers competed in the 1-mile race, with Jayden Keels leading the pack as a top-15 finisher with a time of 4:33.87, while junior Jair Smith finished 26th with his time of 4:46.21. Rounding out the race for Goucher was first-year Dawson Burnett-Paul, who finished with a time of 5:31.15.
Willie Lamb and Antoine Padonou secured top-50 finishes in the 400-meter dash, with Lamb finishing in a time of 54.42 and Padonou with a time of 56.87. Joel Lukoo finished the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.28.
Goucher's next meet will be the Susquehanna Invite on Saturday, Feb. 14th.
