Men’s Track & Field Deliver Personal Bests at Widener
CHESTER, PA- The Goucher College Men's Track & Field team traveled to Widener University to compete in the Danny Curran Invitational.
Dawson Burnett-Paul started the day for the Gophers in the 1500 meters, finishing with a time of 5:08.74. Burnett-Paul also competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase, recording a personal-best time of 12:20.28. Joel Lukoo ran a collegiate-best time of 53.08 in the 400 meters. Jair Smith had a strong performance in the 800 meters, running a personal-best time of 2:00.37. Jayden Keels also competed in the 800 meters, posting a season-best time of 2:00.78. Smith and Keels were joined by Willie Lamb, who recorded a season-best time of 2:01.87. Antoine Padonou represented the Gophers in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:03.29. To round out the day, the men's 4x400-meter relay team of Lukoo, Smith, Keels, and Lamb finished 11th with a time of 3:37.02.
The Gophers returned to action on Saturday, April 11, when they travel to the Delaware State Invitational.
