for a distance of 2,000 meters, before his female partner ran the
final 2,000 meters of the race.

First place in the race went to Goucher runners Adam
Scipione (Walpole, Mass./Walpole) and Hadley
Couraud (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing), who covered
the course in a combined time of 36:28.30, which was :07.06 faster
than York's top pairing of Ryan Janes and Tuesday Wilson.
