Tyson Bowie Named as Associate Head Coach of XC and T&F
BALTIMORE, MD - Tyson Bowie, a recent graduate of Salisbury University will be joining as the Associate Head Coach of Cross Country and Track & Field, announced Director of Athletics, Stephanie Johnson. He is set to begin on Monday, August 4th.
Bowie has an extensive record at Salisbury University. A former student-athlete, Bowie ran Track & Field for four years while earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a minor in Health, which he completed in 2023. Continuing his education at Salisbury University while working as a Graduate Assistant, Bowie earned a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance in 2025.
As a Graduate Assistant, Bowie improved the Cross Country and Track & Field programs, primarily coaching sprinters and jumpers. Bowie has traveled to Division III National three times to coach a triple jumper, a sprinter, and a hurdler.
