Senior Spotlight: Track And Field Anna Gallina

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a track and field athlete for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the track and field program for the last four years! This senior hails from Whitehall, Pennsylvania, who has competed in 20 indoor track meets and 19 outdoor meets in her career. She has earned all-Landmark Conference second-team recognition in the 100m dash as a sophomore at the outdoor meet and in the 60m dash as a junior during the conference indoor championships. She has also earned an individual bronze medal in the 100m dash last season at the outdoor league meet and has helped three relay teams to bronze medals in her career. This year, she won her first collegiate event in the 55m dash at the Larry Sharpe Classic on February 16. She is majoring in international relations. Ladies and gentlemen, Anna Gallina.

  2019-20
 
  • Appeared in five events in the indoor season, but did not compete in the outdoor season due to COVID-19
  • Finished fifth in the 60m with a time of 8.19 at the Landmark Conference Championships on February 29
  • Won the 55m dash with a time of 7.79 at the Fourth Annual Larry Sharpe Memorial on February 16 and also placed second in the 4x400m dash with a time of 4:45.21
   2018-19
 
  • Participated in five events in the indoor season and seven during the outdoor season
  • Finished third in the 100m dash with a time of 13.03 at the Landmark Conference Championships on May 4-5
  • Placed second in the 60m dash with a time of 8.35 at the Landmark Conference Championships on February 23
  2017-18
 
  • Competed in five indoor and five outdoor events
  • Earned a silver medal in the 100m dash with a time of 13.07 and a bronze in the 4x100m relay with a time of 51.64 at Landmark Conference Championships on February 5-6
  • Finished third in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:55.24 at the Landmark Conference Championships on February 24
  2016-17
 
  • Participated in five competitions in the indoor season and seven during the outdoor season
  • Helped the 4x100m relay team to a bronze medal with a time of 51.27 at the Landmark Conference Championships on May 6-7
  • Finished third in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:54.00 at the Landmark Conference Championships on February 25
  • Made her collegiate debut at the River Hawk Opener on December 6
