Cross-Country/Track and Field’s Tara Abdullah-Nri and Eva Bulson-Lewis Named Scholar-Athletes Of The Week
Thus far in the semester, we name two Scholar-Athletes of the Week for their achievements in the classroom. This week's features are track and field sophomore Tara Abdullah-Nri (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Brooklyn Technical) and cross-country senior Eva Bulson-Lewis (Senior Minneapolis, Minn. / Trinity School at River Ridge).
Abdullah-Nri, a psychology major with public health and political science minors, boasts a 3.57 GPA. She joined Coach Camodeca and Goucher's track and field team last March after the conclusion of the indoor season. Unfortunately, the sophomore did not get a chance to compete in the outdoor season due to the COVID cancellation. Abdullah-Nri won the AP Scholar Award in high school and currently serves on Goucher's Academic Honor Board.
Bulson-Lewis holds a 3.66 GPA. The psychology major has waged a place on the Landmark Conference Honor Roll in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years. During her freshman campaign, she made her collegiate debut at the Mustang Stampede on September 1, 2017, and competed in three events. Bulson-Lewis upper her game in 2018, running in six events and recording two Top-20 finishes. The Minnesota native competed in six events last year, including a fourth-place finish at the Goucher Invitational on October 5.
