Gladney Records Two Second-Place Standing At Susquehanna Easter Meet For Goucher Track And Field

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Joel Gladney (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall) recorded a pair of second-place finished to lead the Goucher track and field team at the Susquehanna Easter Meet on Saturday.

 Gladney tossed the shot put 11.32m to finish second in the event and also hurled the discus 37.80m to place second in that event.

Stella Chock (York, Pa./York Suburban) also registered a second-place finish in the pole vault with a height of 2.00m. 

Neli La Court Ruiz (York, Pa./Northeastern) registered a pair of Top-5 finishes on the day, placing fourth in the 100m (14.05) and fifth in the 200m (29.50).

Charlotte Birnbaum (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro North) was sixth in the long jump (3.60) and Tara Abdullah-Nri (Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Technical) rounded out the competitors with a ninth-place finish in the shot put (7.24m).

The Gophers return to action at the Eastern Shore Challenge hosted by Salisbury University on Saturday, April 10.
