Women's Track and Field No. 12 in Mid-Atlantic Region
USTFCCCA REGIONAL RANKINGS (1/24/22)
NEW ORLEANS - The Goucher College women's indoor track and field team is ranked No. 12 in the initial USTFCCCA Division III Mid-Atlantic rankings released on Monday. The Gophers are second out of five Landmark Conference teams ranked in the Mid-Atlantic ranking.
The Gophers have posted four performances that rank among the top-10 in the region.
Carter Hinton-Ayodele (Bowie, Md./Bowie) owns the No. 1 triple jump mark in the region and No. 11 in the country with a mark of 11.66 meters. Hinton-Ayodele also has the No. 11 long jump mark in the Mid-Atlantic at 5.18 meters.
Tee Bakare (Silver Spring, Md./Archbishop Carroll) has two top-5 marks in the region. Her best 200-meter time of 26.90 seconds is currently No. 2 in the region, while her 60-meter time of 8.09 seconds (7.51-55) is fifth in the region.
Kiri Alston-Buck (Havre de Grace, Md./Havre de Grace) owns the region's No.9 effort in the high jump at 1.52 meters.
