Hinton-Ayodele Claims Landmark Accolades for Second Time
TOWSON, Md. - Carter Hinton-Ayodele (Bowie, Md./Bowie), a first year member of the Goucher College women's indoor track and field team, was recognized as the Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday afternoon.
Hinton-Ayodele took third place and set a school record in the women's long jump at Saturday's Susquehanna Invitational with a mark of 5.29 meters. That effort is tops in the Landmark this season.
Earlier this season, Hinton-Ayodele set the women's triple jump program record at 11.66 meters, a mark that still stands at No. 14 in NCAA Division III.
The Goucher track and field teams return to action Friday at the Susquehanna Tune-Up, the final meet before the Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday, February 26.
