Reggie Patterson Named Track and Field Graduate Assistant

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College head track and field and cross country head coach Erick Camodeca announced recently that Reggie Patterson will join the Gophers' coaching staff as a graduate assistant.

"We are excited to bring Reggie to Goucher," said Camodeca.  "We are looking forward to him building and developing our throws program and bringing his experience from a successful program to Goucher."

Patterson, a native of Chesterfield, Virginia, recently wrapped up a four-year career with the Bridgewater (Va.) College men's track and field program.  As a senior Patterson was Third Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) in the javelin throw.  This past season Patterson posted career bests in the javelin (48.53 meters), hammer throw (46.17 meters) and discus (39.63 meters).  As a team the Eagles finished third at the ODAC outdoor championship in 2022.

Patterson, a seven-time ODAC Academic All-Conference team member, graduated magna cum laude from Bridgewater this spring.
