Carter Hinton-Ayodele Honored by Landmark Conference

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College women's indoor track and field sophomore Carter Hinton-Ayodele (Bowie, Md./Bowie) was named the Landmark Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Hinton-Ayodele captured first place in the triple jump at last Friday's LVC Dutchmen Indoor Meet hosted by Lebanon Valley College, posting a mark of 11.39 meters.  Hinton-Ayodele's mark is currently good for No. 10 in NCAA Division III this season.

Last season, Hinton-Ayodele qualified for NCAA nationals in the triple jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons as a first year, placing 10th at indoor nationals.

The Goucher track and field teams are back in action Saturday at the Cardinal Track and Field Classic in Landover, Maryland hosted by Catholic.
