Two Gophers Set to Compete at NCAA Championships in Geneva
TOWSON, Md. - Selections for the 2025 DIII men's and women's track and field championship were announced on Friday, May 16th. The championships will take place from May 22nd - May 24th at the SPIRE Institute's Outdoor Track & Field Facility in Geneva, Ohio. Among the athletes competeing at this event, includes two members of the Goucher Track and Field team.
Junior Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw qualified for the 800m. She is set to run the second heat of the prelims, with her current time of 2:05.28. The women's prelims are set to begin on Friday, May 23rd at 4:15pm, with the finals on Saturday, May 24th at 3pm.
First Year Aryanna Paulena qualified for the pole vault. She is seeded second with her current record of 3.90m. The women's finals for the pole vault will be thursday, May 22nd at 12:30pm.
