Swan Represents Goucher on All-CAC Team

Gophers', Conference's Leading Scorer at 20.6 ppg.

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD — Goucher's Shadae Swan (Baltimore, MD/St. Frances Academy), the leading scorer in the Capital Athletic Conference this season, is a second-team selection on the 2006-07 All-CAC Women's Basketball Team, which was revealed today.

The junior guard averaged 20.6 points per contest in 2006-07 and scored in double figures in all 24 contests. She ranked second in the conference in steals (2.71 per game), fifth in free-throw percentage (.776) and ninth in blocked shots (0.69 per game).

Swan led the Gophers in assists with 50.

Swan was a first-team all-conference selection in 2005-06 when she averaged 21.2 points per contest, making her only the fourth player in the history of Goucher's women's basketball program to earn All-CAC honors more than once during her career.
