MADISON, N.J. - Shadae Swan (Baltimore, MD/St. Frances Academy), who was the leading scorer for Goucher in all three games the Gophers played last week, today was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference for Nov. 26-Dec. 2.

MADISON, N.J. - Shadae Swan (Baltimore, MD/St. Frances Academy), who was the leading scorer for Goucher in all three games the Gophers played last week, today was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference for Nov. 26-Dec. 2.
The senior guard/forward averaged 27.0 points per game and matched her career-high point total with a 34-point performance in Saturday's 81-69 triumph over Christopher Newport. She poured in 26 points in a 66-50 victory over Hood on Nov. 26 and 21 points in an 80-56 win over Trinity (D.C.) on Nov. 29.
In the three games, Swan was 31-for-49 from the field (.633), including 8-for-12 from three-point range. She made 11 of the 12 free throws she attempted, raising her free-throw percentage for the season to .917 (33-of-36).
Swan's other three-game totals: 19 rebounds, eight assists, five steals and three blocked shots.
Swan has now scored 10 or more points in 53 consecutive games.
